I will be sending out a link to a wiki page for sign-ups, please log in and sign up to help.  It is picture day, so the boys will be expected to stay and help out also.

There are a few projects that can get started a.s.a.p.:

• BUILDING STAND AT THE PRACTICE FIELD
  BUILD AND INSTALL SMALL SPPONSOR BOARD IN THE STADUIM AT ENTRY TO STADIUM.
• INSTALL RAILS ON SPONSOR BOARD SIGN
• BUILD BRIDGE BETWEEN UPPER AND LOWED PRACTICE FIELDS.

Drive One 4 UR School

Ford has a new program to donate money to organizations and we have been selected to participate in it.  It is a great opportunity to earn up to $6000 (Lambert AND Central both were able to earn $6000).  All we have to do is test drive a Ford and fill out a quick survey, for every survey completed they will donate $20 to our Touchdown Club!!!

The cars will be at WFHS on Friday August 19, 2011 from 9:00am-4:00pm in front of the school and 4:30pm-7:00pm by the stadium.  And again on Saturday August 20, 2011 9:00am-3:00pm by the stadium. 

PLEASE send out the attachment to your neighborhoods, friends, and families we need EVERYONE to show up and drive a car that weekend.  We need 300 test drives to earn our $6000!  EASY!!!

Charity Pancake Breakfast

During our Drive One 4 UR School Event we will also be hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, August 20^th(8am – 11am) with all donations from the day going to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  Please come out and enjoy some pancakes before you test drive a FORD.  If you can help out cooking the pancakes that morning, please let us know. Thanks! :)

Sponsorships

This is a last call for Sponsorships.  We still have spots available on the Sponsor Board if you know of someone who might be interested, please contact them ASAP.  The drop dead date for Sponsorships is JULY 22^nd, after that date we will not be able to place ads in the program, due to publication production.  If you wind up speaking with someone who is interested in Sponsoring the WFTDC after this date they must contact a Board Member to discuss.

WFTDC Memberships

If you have not paid your WFTDC membership, we need your payment and registration. The Registration and Payment deadline was June 1. Please inform any Board Member of any hardship/special situation. We need your support!

There will be a webinar for upcoming SENIOR players on Wednesday, April 13th at 8PM at WFHS room 1601.  Please make plans to attend. 

Player meeting Thursday, April 14th at 8am for current WFHS students. 

We need about 25-30 volunteers to help with the distribution and delivery of our pine straw this Saturday, April 16th at Midway Building Supply, 7am-1pm.  Please park across the street in the Publix Shopping Center.

On Wednesday, April 20th WFHS will be offering physicals.  You can find the physical form in the "Forms" tab to the left.  You need to send it with your son completed except for the doctor's portion.

Physicals will be held Wednesday, April 20th at 6pm in the WFHS Auxiliary Gym for $20 per student athlete. The physicals will only last as long as there is a line of people waiting to be seen. Once everyone in line has been assessed by our medical team, the doctors will leave. They will not wait on anyone who might show up. Physicals could end at 6:45 or 8pm, but make sure you show up early to guarantee that you get your physical! No student athlete will be permitted to participate in ANY athletics (this include practice) until he or she has a physical on file. Physicals should be turned into Dennis Stromie (1174) or Lori Stromie (Counseling Office).  

Next Wednesday, April 20th will be our Parent Meeting at 7pm in the big gym, we will be sizing the boys that night also.
